This policy explains how Mental Health and Family Well-being Foundation handles personal information submitted through this website.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us through the forms on this website: contact enquiries, volunteer applications, event registrations, newsletter subscriptions and donation pledges.
Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, location, areas of interest, availability, the message you write and the amount you pledge.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes or banking credentials on this website. Payments are completed through certified payment providers or verified account details shared with you directly.
We do not ask for clinical records or detailed health information through website forms.
How we use your information
To respond to your enquiry, process your volunteer application, register you for an event, send you the updates you asked for, or acknowledge and reconcile your donation.
To understand, in aggregate, how our programs are used so that we can improve them. Aggregate reporting never identifies individuals.
Confidentiality and sensitive information
Mental health information is sensitive. Access to submissions is restricted to authorised members of the foundation team and is handled with confidentiality and care.
We will not publish your story, quote or image without your explicit permission.
Storage and security
Submissions are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database with restricted access. Administrative access requires authentication, and database policies prevent public reading of submissions or donation records.
No system is perfectly secure. We work to protect your information and to limit what we collect in the first place.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting or payment processing), and only to the extent necessary.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, or to unsubscribe from our updates. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe path, and you can contact us at any time.
Children
Where our programs involve children or students, we work through schools, guardians and appropriate safeguarding arrangements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website without the involvement of a parent, guardian or institution.
Cookies and analytics
This website keeps a strictly necessary session cookie for administrator sign-in. If analytics are introduced in future, this policy will be updated to describe them before they are enabled.
